Democrats are that their next big priority, once health care reconciliation passes, is to move on to consumer protection and financial regulatory reform. The NY Times seems to agree, as they’ve already rolled out a profile of .

 In the NYT piece, Professor Warren is described as having, “the friendly face of a teacher, the pedigree of a top law professor, the moral force of a preacher and the plain-spoken twang of a Oklahoman.”

Professor Warren has her fans (among which we count ourselves) and her detractors and the NYT notes this, however, I think one would be hard pressed to argue with the description above, especially after seeing her in action. Here she is at the 麻豆果冻传媒 Foundation earlier this month, talking about “the complexity machine.”
