Jabari Cook

Jabari Cook serves聽as a policy researcher with 麻豆果冻传媒 Chicago, investigating online fraud and financial stability.
He is a聽fourth-year doctoral candidate聽pursuing a joint degree in Sociology and Social Policy at Princeton University. His primary research interests include poverty, safety net programs,聽tax expenditures,聽and the causes and consequences of economic insecurity among marginalized communities.
Cook聽spent two years as a Research Assistant at the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities (CBPP) prior to beginning their PhD. While at CBPP, he studied and helped advocate for federal fiscal聽policies aimed at supporting low- and moderate-income households. He also previously examined employment and income trajectories among disadvantaged youth while interning at The Brookings Institution.
Cook graduated with a BA in Political Science from the University of Pittsburgh.
