David Kilcullen

David Kilcullen is Professor of War Studies at UNSW Canberra, Professor of Practice at Arizona State University, and CEO of Cordillera Applications Group. A theorist and practitioner of irregular warfare with 25 years of service to the Australian and U.S. governments, he has authored eight books and numerous scholarly papers; teaches courses in strategy, special warfare, urban operations and military innovation; and leads projects for NATO and allied governments on future conflict, emerging and disruptive technologies, AI, wargaming, and experimentation. He was awarded a 2015 Walkley Award for his reporting on the rise of Islamic State.
