Christopher P. Costa is Executive Director of the International Spy Museum in Washington, DC. He served as Special Assistant to the President for Counterterrorism at the White House in 2017 and 2018. His 35-year government career included 25 years in HUMINT and with special operations forces in the U.S. Army.  He ran a wide range of intelligence operations in Panama, Bosnia, Iraq, and Afghanistan. In 2013, he was inducted into the U.S. Special Operations Command’s Commando Hall of Honor for lifetime service. Costa has served as an Adjunct Professor at Georgetown University.
