The Future of Property Rights Program first presented our report, "Blockchain and Property in 2018: At the End of the Beginning," at the 2018 World Bank Land and Poverty Conference in Washington, DC. The original version can still be accessed .

We are excited to announce the inclusion of an in , a journal about entrepreneurial solutions to global challenges, published by MIT Press.

In our revised report, we:

  • Omit a number of case studies in order to better emphasize five different issues and impacts stemming from the interaction of blockchain and land.
  • Adjust our "Framework for Blockchain-Registry Adoption" to account for the differences between "tokenized shares" and the "tokenization of property rights."
  • Clarify a few examples of blockchain-registry adoption.
