Kimberly Dozier is a Global Affairs Analyst for CNN, covering foreign policy, intelligence and national security. Before that, she wrote for AP Intelligence and was an award-winning correspondent for CBS News. She has covered conflicts in Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Egypt, Israel and Palestinian areas, Kosovo, and Northern Ireland, producing a body of work that has garnered a Peabody and several Edward R. Murrow awards. Her book Breathing the Fire, Fighting to Survive and Get Back to the Fight (Meredith Books, 2008) details her recovery from a 2006 car bomb attack in Baghdad that killed her CBS News camera team and the U.S. Army captain they were filming.
