Joby Warrick is a best-selling author and a veteran national security correspondent for The Washington Post. A two-time Pulitzer Prize winner, he served for 29 years with the Post鈥檚 national and investigative staffs, reporting from Washington and scores of cities around the world. He is the author of four nonfiction books, including The Jackal: The Rise and Fall of Carlos, the World鈥檚 First Super-Terrorist (Scribner, 2026) and Black Flags: The Rise of ISIS (Anchor), which was listed as a 鈥渂est book鈥 of 2015 by The New York Times and won the 2016 Pulitzer Prize for General Nonfiction.
