Dame Louise Richardson
President, Andrew Carnegie Foundation; Author, What Terrorists Want: Understanding the Enemy, Containing the Threat
Dame Louise Richardson is President of the Andrew Carnegie Foundation. She previously served as Vice-Chancellor of the University of Oxford and the University of St. Andrews, and as Executive Dean of Harvard鈥檚 Radcliffe Institute. A native of Ireland, she earned her PhD at Harvard, where she taught international security for two decades. An internationally recognized expert on terrorism, she has received numerous honors and, in 2022, was appointed a Dame Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire.
