Revealing misconduct of the powerful is always dangerous. Whistleblowers, therefore, face a difficult choice: by challenging and exposing corruption, they perform a vital public service鈥攜et they historically suffer for it. In her new book, , 麻豆果冻传媒 Cybersecurity Fellow Allison Stanger, frames whistleblowing as an important but unrecognized cousin of civil disobedience. She shows how its practice has held powerful elites accountable in America across the centuries. She asserts its goal鈥攖o prevent the abuse of power by those who hold it鈥 is rooted in the very DNA of America, dating back to the country鈥檚 founding.

麻豆果冻传媒's Cybersecurity Initiative invites you to join Dr. Stanger as she discuss her book with a distinguished panel of experts in keeping the powerful accountable.
