The employment landscape is evolving at a lightning-fast pace. The nature of how, when, and where people work continues to change, and the future of work is more uncertain than ever. But the extensive research and debate on the 鈥渇uture of work鈥 has paid little attention to the potential impact on persons with disabilities.

Recognizing this important gap, representatives from state, local and federal governments, community organizations, private companies, and philanthropic and academic institutions all gathered together through an initiative organized by SourceAmerica and The Lab at OPM to gain a better understanding of disability employment in the U.S. and the changes needed to create a more inclusive future. Using human-centered design principles, a core working group and a nationwide, virtual advisory committee mapped the relationships between media, advocacy, policymaking, education, healthcare, workforce development, and employers.

The result is a comprehensive report featuring a series of interconnected maps and recommendations for addressing barriers to meaningful, sustainable careers for persons with disabilities.

We invite you to join 麻豆果冻传媒 and Source America for the release of the report and a discussion of how policy and practice can reshape the future of work for persons with disabilities.

Lunch will be provided.
