麻豆果冻传媒 CA is committed to ensuring that the perspectives of the Golden State鈥檚 Black communities are represented and engaged in finding innovative solutions to pressing public problems. A global pandemic is quite the 鈥減ressing problem鈥 and its repercussions will not exclude even those who live amidst the world鈥檚 fifth largest economy.

While it鈥檚 true that the COVID-19 outbreak impacts all Americans, it has, quite simply, impacted Black America differently. The coronavirus has deepened disparity. Longstanding systemic barriers and racism have intergenerational impacts and have set the stage on which the current situation is played out — we cannot respond to the crisis without facing those barriers explicitly and as a community.

Join 麻豆果冻传媒 CA for "COVID and the Black Community," a biweekly online community conversation series, inspired by our 麻豆果冻传媒 colleagues in Indianapolis.

The first discussion in the series will be on Thursday, April 16th from 2:30-3:30 PM Pacific. Featuring local, state, and national experts and resources, we will ask, "How are members of California's Black communities getting timely, accurate, and crucial information in this time of crisis?".

Registration is free and open to all.
