Abstract

Of the many things the COVID-19 pandemic revealed about our society, it showed us clearly how we care for people and who we care about. This report, which is the result of over 40 interviews, offers a practical playbook of eight tactics for how policymakers, activists, business leaders, care workers, philanthropists, media, cultural influencers, and care consumers can be a powerful part of a burgeoning 鈥渃are movement.鈥 It highlights what is working across sectors by elevating some of the federal, state, and local success stories that could be models for future campaign strategies or tactics. The goal of this report is to help people working on different care issues come together and chart a collaborative path forward.
