College students who want to work in government are often skilled in grand theory and big think, but is that really what it is like to work at the State Department? The reality for most is that working in government is less West Wing, and more interagency process.

Join us on Thursday, November 13th for a Google Hangout as we go behind the scenes and discuss what it is really like to work at the State Department, with Assistant Secretary of State for Public Affairs Douglas Frantz, and former director of policy planning and current Â鶹¹û¶³´«Ã½ CEO Anne-Marie Slaughter.
The public, and students in particular are encouraged to ask questions before and during the event by tweeting #StateHangout, or by tweeting

Those who RSVP will be given a YouTube link to watch live.
