Please join the Âé¶¹¹û¶³´«Ã½ Foundation National Security Studies Program for a discussion with one of the world’s leading experts on jihadist groups in Europe and North Africa, Camille Tawil, on the past and current state of militant Islam in the region. Tawil, a journalist for the London-based Arabic daily al-Hayat, has covered militant Islam in the United Kingdom and North Africa for over 20 years, and has written seminal works in Arabic and English about Algeria’s Armed Islamic Group (GIA) and the wider history of North African militant groups.
